what to expect

The intermediate surf package is ideal for surfers who already have some experience in the water and are confident in the 'unbroken' green waves. We provide you with all the surf kit, lessons, and tailored feedback to help you perfect your surfing technique, and become a stronger and more confident surfer. Our intermediate surfer lessons travel to a range of local surf spots (beach breaks and point breaks). Our priority is to make sure your surfing improves over the week and that you leave with some great personalized tips. 

We want to provide quality, not quantity, which is why we keep our group sizes to a maximum of 4 students per instructor. 

what you will learn

These lessons build upon your current knowledge of surfing which we will discuss with you on your first day of surfing. You will join our instructors in paddling out to the lineup, where our goal is to help you increase the speed and frequency of waves you catch, progress in your maneuvers including cutbacks and bottom turns as well as develop your surf style. The on-shore lessons combined with our coaching in the water, make sure you get the most time to develop your surfing style and improve your confidence.

A typical day is outlined below however this is just a guide and we do switch up our daily times for the tides to ensure you get the best surf conditions and uncrowded spots.

• 9:00 - Surfers buffet breakfast

• 10:00 - Depart for surfing

• 10:30-12:30 - Morning surf lessons with instructors

• 12:30-13:30 - Lunch at the beach

• 13:30-16:00 - Supervised afternoon surf session

• 16:00/17:00 - Return to camp

• 17:30-18:30 - Sunset Yoga (optional extra)

• 19:00 - Dinner
