MEET THE SHAKA TEAM

We are a small, friendly, and passionate team of surfers who came together to provide unique and memorable surf holidays in Morocco. Shaka Surf Morocco was founded in 2016 by a local from Tamraght (Hassan) and a British traveler (Beth), who fell in love with the surf culture and region.

We have chosen our local surf instructors for their quality, experience, and professionalism. The priority of our surf team is to make sure you get the most out of your time in the water - they are experienced, patient, and knowledgeable of the surf spots and conditions of our region.

MOHAMED - SURF TEACHER

With certifications in ISA (International Surf Association) Level 1 Surf Instruction & International Life Saving / Surf Life Saving he brings a deep knowledge of ocean safety and a passion for sharing the stoke.

Whether you're paddling out for the first time or looking to refine your technique, Mohamed’s calm, encouraging approach helps students build confidence, and always with a smile and shaka!

AYOUB - SURF TEACHER

Born and raised in Tamraght and on the coast, Ayoub has been competing and chasing waves since childhood.

Ayoub, also holds certifications in ISA Level 1 Surf Instruction & ILS Surf Life Saving. He has a real intuitive knack for reading the ocean, specializes in helping students of all levels tap into their potential. Whether you're learning to pop up or perfecting your cutback, his teaching style is all about patience, positivity, and progressing at your own pace.
