Not staying at Shaka Surf? No problem! Our daily drop-in surf lessons in Tamraght are open to everyone. Whether you’re staying in Tamraght, Taghazout, or Agadir, you can join us for a surf session without booking accommodation at our surf house.

JOIN US FOR A FULL SURF DAY - HOW WILL THE DAY LOOK?

Starting the day, we will collect you from your accommodation and bring you to the best, uncrowded surf spot of the day.

Our friendly surf instructors will provide you with all the surf equipment and get you warmed up and ready for your surf lesson, starting with beach theory and then heading to the water for your surf session.

The lessons are 2.5 hours, and following this, there is a break for lunch and then a supervised afternoon 'free-surf' session where you can practice what you learned in the morning. When the day is done, we take you back to your hotel.

Typically, our days run from around 10 AM to 4 PM. If you need to leave earlier, we can help arrange this; just let us know on booking.

The one-day surf experience is available daily, and costs 45 Euro per person / per day or for three days or more, 40 Euro per person / per day.

If you are in Tamraght, then there is a 5 euro deduction from the rates above.

We have access to a wide variety of surf spots around Tamraght, Taghazout and the Agadir coast. Our coaches choose where to surf each day based on the swell, wind, tide, and your level, so you get the best possible conditions for your session. From beginner-friendly beach breaks to more challenging waves for intermediate and advanced surfers, we’ll find the right spot for you.

No. Our daily drop-in surf lessons are open to everyone, whether you’re staying with us or elsewhere in Tamraght, Taghazout, or Agadir.

Are your surf lessons suitable for beginners?

Yes. Our surf lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as surfers with previous experience. We’ll match the session to your ability and the conditions on the day.

Where do you surf?

We choose from a variety of surf spots around Tamraght, Taghazout and the surrounding Agadir coast, depending on the swell, wind, tide and your level.

Can intermediate surfers join your surf lessons?

Absolutely. Our intermediate sessions are designed for surfers who are already comfortable catching and riding green waves and want to improve their technique, positioning and confidence.

Can I book this experience for any day of the week?

Yes, our surf school runs daily, 7 days a week! :)

HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE IN MY GROUP?

We keep our surf lesson ratios low, at just 6 students per instructor. We believe this gives you the best chance to progress with more attention and personalized feedback.
