About Connie

Connie is a 600-hour trained yoga teacher, sound healer, and Reiki practitioner based in the countryside of East Sussex. Her approach blends dynamic movement, restorative practices, meditation, mantra, and mindfulness to create space for deep rest, connection, and renewal.

Having experienced the transformative power of yoga through her own life journey, Connie is passionate about sharing practices that help people slow down, reconnect, and find greater ease both on and off the mat.

Whether you're completely new to yoga or have an established practice, Connie creates a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels supported. Her sessions are designed to leave you feeling grounded, energised, and inspired.

KEY INFORMATION ABOUT THIS RETREAT

  1. Small group retreat: Maximum of 11 guests for a personal and supportive experience.

  2. Booking: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your place. Final balance: The remaining 50% is due 30 days before the retreat start date.

  3. Cancellation: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place on the retreat. The remaining 50% balance is due 30 days before the retreat start date. Once the final balance has been paid, all payments are non-refundable.

  4. Surfing: Suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced surfers. Coaching is tailored to your ability.

  5. Yoga: Open to all experience levels, whether it's your first class or part of your regular practice.

  6. Solo travellers: Guests booking a shared room will be paired with someone of the same gender, unless you request an alternative arrangement.

  7. Come solo or with friends: Our retreat is designed to be welcoming, whether you're travelling alone, with a partner, or with friends.

Do I need surf experience?

Not at all! Our retreat is designed for all surfing abilities, from complete beginners catching their first wave to more experienced surfers looking to improve their skills. Our surf coaching is tailored to your level, with supportive guidance to help you progress while having fun in the water.

Do I need yoga experience?

Absolutely not. The yoga sessions are suitable for all levels, including complete beginners. Whether you're new to yoga or have an established practice, Connie's sessions offer a welcoming space to move, breathe, relax, and reconnect with yourself.

Can I come alone?

Yes! Many guests join our retreats solo, and it’s a wonderful way to meet new people and share the experience with like-minded travellers. If you choose a shared room, solo travellers will be matched with someone of the same gender unless an alternative arrangement is requested.

What airport should I fly to?

The closest airport is Agadir–Al Massira Airport (AGA), which is approximately a 45-minute drive from Tamraght. We can provide guidance on airport transfers and the best travel options when you book your place.

What's the weather like in November?

November is a beautiful time to visit Morocco, with warm sunny days, comfortable temperatures, and great conditions for surfing. Expect plenty of sunshine, cooler evenings, and a refreshing ocean breeze—perfect for beach days, outdoor yoga, and exploring the surrounding landscapes.

Can dietary requirements be catered for?

Yes, we can cater for most dietary requirements. Please let us know your needs when booking so we can make sure your meals are prepared with you in mind. From vegetarian and vegan options to allergies and intolerances, we’ll do our best to accommodate.

What should I pack?

We recommend bringing comfortable clothing for yoga and relaxing, swimwear, beachwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, a reusable water bottle, comfortable shoes for exploring, and warmer layers for cooler evenings. Don't worry about surf equipment—we provide surfboards and wetsuits for your sessions.

Is travel insurance required?

Yes, we strongly recommend all guests have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, personal belongings, and surf activities. Having suitable insurance gives you peace of mind so you can fully enjoy your retreat experience.

Can I extend my stay before or after the retreat?

Absolutely. Many guests choose to extend their trip and explore more of Morocco before or after the retreat. Tamraght and the surrounding area offer plenty to discover, from surf beaches and coastal walks to local markets, cafés, and cultural experiences.
