Tamraght village is the base for Shaka Surf Morocco, a sleepy surf village with ocean to the front and mountains to the back. The village is home to some very cute cafes and restaurants offering you the chance to grab a post surf smoothie, coffee, or pancake even!

Babakoul
Babakoul is one of our favourite local cafes with it’s cosy, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu is varied and plentiful with something for everyone, from traditional Moroccan cuisine through to pizzas, as well as a never-ending list of sweet and savoury pancakes (yum!). Just fancy a drink? No problem, be sure not to miss the wide range of amazing smoothies and fresh juices including the infamous avocado smoothie! We think it’s the perfect spot to watch the world pass by with a post surf treat (or two).
We Love: The avocado smoothie, or if you have a morning to spare they do a bountiful Babakoul breakfast, think…pancakes, omelettes, juice, coffee, finest moroccan dips.

Lets Be HEALING FOOD
Let’s Be Healing Food is a restaurant born from a passion for good, organic, healthy and conscious food. The menu is overflowing with options with plenty of choice for vegetarians, vegans and raw food eaters. To give you an idea of what you can expect - think smoothie bowls, smoothies, vegan burgers, salad bowls, chia pudding and eye watering raw sweet treats. Let’s Be is also a front runner in environmental awareness, for example it was the first cafe in the village to introduce re-usable straws (bamboo and stainless steel) and has some thought provoking art installations created from plastic waste. The creative atmosphere of this restaurant make it a firm favourite, along with it’s highly instagram-able interiors and food presentation.
We Love: They do an epic gluten free pancake stack topped with homemade preserve and seasons fruits - it’s a heavenly treat! Make sure not to miss the the cute little shop with lots of lovely souvenirs and take away treasures.

Cafe Hassan - Imourane Beach
If you fancy exploring a little further afield then be sure not to miss out Chez Hassan, a short ten minutes stroll down to favourite beachside cafe nestled between our two local surf spots (imourane and crocodile beach). We love to take our guests here post sunrise surf, with their delicious moroccan omelette, fresh bread and local dips as well as mint tea and fresh OJ to refuel our surfers!

Boulangerie Patisserie La Panière
We love the new bakery in the village Le Paniere, it’s the ultimate stop for a sweet treat on the go! Think pastries, cakes, brownies, freshly baked bread and savoury treats as well as a delicious range of traditional Moroccan biscuits (priced by the kilo).
